FAQ
Q: How long does the typical INTRACel treatment take?
A: The treatment time is only 10 to 15 minutes and is performed under local anesthesia.
Q: What are the post-care instructions after an INTRAcel treatment?
A: You should follow the post-care instructions of your physician that include cooling the treated area with ice for 10 minutes, avoiding alcohol for up to 3 days and liberally applying moisturizers and sunscreen.
Q: Is the treatment painful?
A: The INTRACel treatment is performed under local anesthesia and most patients experience only a mild discomfort similar to that of fractional resurfacing.
Q: How long should I wait between treatments?
A: Patients will benefit from multiple treatments. It takes about four weeks for the skin to completely regenerate between treatments, and as a result treatments should be spaced at least 30 days apart for optimal healing.
Q: Can I use Botox or fillers at the same time I am treated with INTRACel?
A: As long as the injections are performed AFTER the INTRAcel treatment, you can safely do both treatments in one visit. If you plan on having an INTRACel treatment within 6 months of an injection (filler or Botox), it is recommended that you use a 0.5mm needle.
